Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how C & E Designs Inc. (“C & E Designs,” “WholeTier,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the WholeTier: B2B Pricing application, wholetier.com, and related support communications.

2. Information we may process

To provide and support WholeTier, we may process information made available by the merchant, Shopify, or the merchant’s authorized users, including:

• Shop and account identifiers, store domain, and basic administrator or user information made available through Shopify;
• Wholesale rule settings, product and collection identifiers, catalog configuration, publication state, and related app configuration;
• Subscription and billing status made available through Shopify. We do not collect or store full payment card details for Shopify app subscription billing;
• Technical and operational information such as timestamps, app events, diagnostic records, and error details needed to operate, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the service; and
• Messages, attachments, and contact details you provide when requesting support.

WholeTier is designed to process the information reasonably necessary to provide its wholesale pricing functions. Merchants should not submit sensitive personal information through rule names, notes, or support requests unless necessary.

3. How we use information

We may use information to provide and maintain WholeTier; authenticate and support authorized use; calculate, publish, reconcile, and remove app-managed wholesale pricing; display subscription and publication status; respond to support requests; diagnose errors; prevent misuse; comply with law; and improve service reliability and user guidance.

4. How information may be shared

We may share information with service providers only as reasonably necessary to operate, host, monitor, support, or secure WholeTier; with Shopify where required for application functionality and billing; when required by law or valid legal process; to protect rights, safety, and service integrity; or in connection with a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the service, resolving disputes, maintaining appropriate business records, and meeting legal obligations. WholeTier includes cancellation and uninstall cleanup for app-managed wholesale pricing. Removal of app-managed pricing is separate from deletion of operational, billing, or legally required records.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information we process. No system or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Merchants are responsible for controlling access to their Shopify accounts and for protecting their credentials.

7. Merchant and Shopify responsibilities

Merchants determine how they use WholeTier and are responsible for their store, users, products, buyer relationships, and compliance obligations. Shopify’s own terms and privacy practices apply to information processed by Shopify. WholeTier is not endorsed by Shopify.

8. Privacy choices and requests

Depending on applicable law and your relationship with us, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or other action regarding personal information. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. Merchants may also need to respond directly to requests involving data they control.

9. Children’s privacy

WholeTier is a business application and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly offer the service for use by children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service, law, or our practices change. We will post the revised policy and update the date above. Material changes may be communicated through additional means when appropriate.
